A small selection of images from Harriet’s Organic Hairdressing’s First Year On The High Street Runway Show featuring pieces from the new season's vintage collection at Time After Time, 30 High Street in Stroud.
The event took place on Saturday October 10th at the apex of Stroud's fashionable Upper High.
Kumo wears a red and gold silk evening gown with power shoulders from the mid 1980s. The jacket is mixed fur, also from the 80s with antique Bedouin jewellery from the late 1800s.
Callum wears a 1950s plaid suit with a high-button Liberty waistcoat over a Lagerfeld shirt with a 1950s Cecil Gee herringbone topcoat with two tone brogues.
Wave-Marie wears a yellow silk 50s dress under a reversible silk coat in burnt orange and chocolate plus a pheasant feather fascinator in her hair. The jewellery is antique Bedouin.Hair by Harriet. Styling by Time After Time
Kumo’s second look is a couture early 1970s black silk gown with lurex lining, and a dramatic bolero jacket echoing the lurex. Jewellery is once again antique Bedouin.
Callum wears a jacket from 1964 made by Jackson’s of Liverpool (The Beatles’ first tailor). This jacket was worn by Graham Nash on stage with The Hollies. Paisley scarf by Sammy, shoes by Church.
Wave-Marie completes the Time After Time section of the show in a 1940s Deco dress in bottle green satin, worn under a full length green velvet evening coat printed with a gold Deco motif. The coat was made by Time’s David Ireland for his degree show in 1971 – the is the coat’s first outing since then. Jewellery is antique Bedouin, the black velvet hat a 1940s original.
