You may have heard me on Mark Cumming's Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Gloucestershire this morning extolling the virtues of Stroud's Goodwill Evening. One of the highspots of Stroud's ear, the streets will throng with jolly folks embarking on the festive season with gusto! (Despite the tv ads showing us Christmas spreads since November the 5th this year!) We've decorated out window - The Steadfast Tin Soldier is our fairytale theme - and we'll be playing vintage Christmas music through the next few weeks. The shop is fully stocked with scarves and jumpers and hats and furs and coats and all kinds of sparkly things for him and her (and them). Drop by and say hi...marvel at our shocking pink Christmas tree and enjoy the fact that The Victorians coined the term 'XMAS' - more religious than you'd imaging!
