  • (we're experiencing a temporary technical hitch with the MP3 player...will be fixed asap...)

  • Show 94
  • Time After Time Week 91 - Midsummer Mayhem -
  • a show with no real agenda, but it sounds as though I've had about a dozen cups of coffee and a Red Bull or two...what WAS I on? We have everything from Benny Goodman to Right Said Fred, plus a special request from our Aussie friend Antonia Marlowe - Summertime Blues - what else...
  • Laura missed the bus and Sam won the Shambles Smoothie franchise...and I helped my good mate Cas Greenfield to finish off his new CD.
  • Show 91
  • Time After Time Week 90 - Guilty Pleasures - a self indulgent show with tracks I like to listen to
  • And as always the show was stuck together with vinegar and brown paper by the ever inventive Laura...
  • Show 90
  • Time After Time Week 89 - A Fistful Of The Fifties - fun and frolics at The Vintage Hour this week, as we re-visit the decade with tracks by Elvis, Gene Vincent, Charlie Parker, Alma Cogan and even Tommy Steele...
  • Ably assisted this week by the ever fabulous Laura and new boy on the job, Sam.
  • Show 89

A great show! ps - this week's show features one of my own compositions: Alexandra van Marken with 'Roots Go Deep' - co-written with Frans Ehlhart.
  • Time After Time Week 85 - The Rainman Cometh. First Broadcast on May 6th 2012
  • Some wonderful music this week including the original hit version of Singing In The Rain from 1929 and closing with a song about melting in the rain from Jimmy Webb and the late great Richard Harris.
  • Time After Time Week 84 - The Brothers Gershwin. First Broadcast 29th April 2012.
  • What a week! Busy recording a new album, with Rufus Fry, The Hitch Hoppers, The Mighty Ginge and Laura, my multi-talented producer. Sooo... due to lack of time, we're going back to a favourite show of mine from the archive. Using George and Ira Gershwin as the theme, we draw in tracks from Kate Bush, Brian Wilson, Astaire, Larry Adler and many more. Plus a special guest appearance from author Casimir Greenfield in a taster of a Desert Island Discs style programme we recorded with him.
  • Hope you enjoy the show, and as always, requests for future shows gratefully received.

  • Friday, April 19th and we've just recorded Sunday's show (but you can listen now...). The theme this week is Guilty Pleasures. Some tracks I love and I hope you will too. As always, that eclectic mix you've come to expect from Time After Time. Requests always welcome for future shows...just sent me an email. Enjoy the show!
  • This week's show has a literary theme. I'm calling it Paperback Writers. You can listen now by clicking the player. First broadcast on April 15th.
  • April has arrived and even though I scraped ice from the car windows this morning, Spring is definitely here. All Fools Day is behind us, still, the fools were hanging around when I recorded the show...but it's really all about new beginnings, nature, romance, hope and all things April. Enjoy the show!
First broadcast on Sunday April 8th 2012...

Time After Time: The Beatle Hour - Celebrating 50 Years of the Beatles in Stroud.

On the 31st of March 1962, The Beatles played the first of two concerts at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud. The line-up was Pete Best, George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

To celebrate the anniversary, Time After Time Presenter Dave Ireland has compiled a special show of archive tunes, requests and classic tracks. The choice was hard - and if your favourite is missing - then let us know. But for now, sit back and re-live with us our celebration of 50 years of The Beatles in Stroud!

Just click on the player for an hour of Beatle fun!
